Solano Hotel is a premier hotel located in Lipa City, Batangas. The Challenge
While preparing for opening, Solano Hotel needed a dependable hotel lock solution for its already-installed doors. However:
- The hotel used thick steel doors with pre-existing holes that were not aligned with standard hotel lock systems
- Modifying or replacing the doors would be costly and could delay the project timeline
- Most suppliers were unable to provide a workable solution given the door configuration
This created a significant challenge in ensuring both security and compatibility without compromising the existing door structure.
The Solution and Results
To address these challenges, we collaborated with Solano Hotel to develop a customized installation approach. Instead of altering the doors, we introduced the use of a custom acrylic plate that:
- Covered the existing misaligned holes
- Created a properly aligned surface for Fireclay RFID Hotel Door Lock
After implementation, Solano Hotel achieved measurable improvements
